Better Business Bureau Alert: Get Home Solutions

As a member of the Better Business Bureau, we review the organization’s activity updates regularly.  If they affect our clients and prospective clients directly, we highlight them on our blog.

What follows is a quote from the BBB on one of the many fraudulent schemes targeting homeowners at risk of foreclosure:

The “we buy houses” concept is a variation of the mortgage foreclosure rescue business that targets homeowners who are in distress and on the verge of losing their homes to foreclosure. One of these businesses is Get Home Solutions (aka Fast home Solutions) managed by Robert J. Palano, who has an extensive criminal record for mortgage fraud. After serving a prison sentence for mortgage fraud, Palano relocated to Charlotte in 2008 to manage Fast Home Solutions and the BBB began investigating the business because it is in a “suspect industry.”

When we confirmed Palano’s record, we linked his criminal history to Fast Home Solutions BBB report and revised the company’s BBB rating to an “F”. Soon after, Fast Home Solutions changed its name to Get Home Solutions and we then linked the business names on their BBB report. View Get Home Solutions’ BBB report.
